Crisis management in a turbulent world.

Crises demand leadership, decision making, and communication distinctly different from normal conditions.  Thus, building and exercising crisis management capacity is essential.

Each crisis is uniquely complex and demands a custom response.  However, it is possible to be prepared, with a plan that can be quickly adapted as a risk emerges and a crisis unfolds.

This workshop will help you lay the foundation for an effective and adaptive crisis plan.  In this workshop we will explore:

  • Crises similarities and differences (behavioral, natural, reputational, and cyber crises)
  • Which crises must we plan and prepare for?
  • Crisis sensing, response, recovery, and learning
  • Crisis response v. business continuity
  • Crisis communication

Led by an impressive group of presenters, this conference was packed with valuable, practical insight. Dr. Naidoo’s insights resonated with me as he shared memorable examples of ways to ensure we always bring our whole selves to work. The communication tools shared to establish project visibility and own the narrative will certainly be applied in the management of my projects. Given the wealth of knowledge and perspectives shared, the whole experience felt like we attended a Master Class on leadership. The level of engagement from the presenters allowed time for meaningful dialogue and introspection.
